Hawai’i Venture Capital Association counts entrepreneurs, angel investors, institutional investors, bankers, legal and accounting professionals and university and government representatives among its corporate and individual members. A monthly membership meeting is offers the chance for members and the public to meet, network and listen to important presentations about issues affecting the tech economy in Hawaii. Our members work with us and the State to develop policy and laws that encourage entrepreneurship, tech growth and the availability of venture capital necessary to sustain the tech economy.
The benefits of membership are growing. The greatest benefit is networking with entrepreneurs, investors, and experienced executives. You also have the opportunity to see first hand the process of planning and starting exciting new businesses. Meetings frequently feature knowledgeable and successful business leaders from Hawai’i and the Mainland U.S. All of the luncheons take place in the exclusive atmosphere of the Plaza Club in downtown Honolulu. Members receive a discount on luncheons and can bring a guest to our luncheons at the member rate. Members can opt-in to be listed in our member directory and will receive notices of upcoming HVCA events as well as events we sponsor with our tech industry allied groups. A subscription to Hawaii Business magazine is also a benefit of being a member of HVCA.
