Social Impact Entrepreneur of the Year Finalists

The award is intended to honor an entrepreneur or entrepreneurial company that makes a substantial contribution to Hawaii. The award recipient will have contributed to non-profit organizations or community volunteer efforts. The Social Impact Entrepreneur of the Year Award celebrates those entrepreneurs and companies that have shown leadership, innovation and commitment to being a part of efforts to solve our state’s toughest problems
 

Hui Mālama i ke Ala ʻŪlili is a non-profit community-based organization founded in 2011 by Noʻeau Peralto. Their mission re-establish necessary systems within our community through educational programs that promote well-being and cultivate abundance. 

Digital Ready Hawaii is a company created by Kaʻala Souza to help people achieve their goals by giving them the necessary resources and training to expand their horizons. 
     

Reeler, founded by Lauren Pierce and Spencer VanDerKamp, is a mobile app connecting people to local, sustainable fishers.
